Editing a collection

Introduction

Each collection has a variety of settings that control its behaviour (e.g. what data is gathered, who can view the collection, what special actions are performed when updating the collection, how results are displayed etc.).

Editing a collection's settings will usually be necessary to fine tune the collection to suit your requirements. The edit collection configuration page provides an interface for doing this.

Editing a collection

1. Go to the "Select collection to manage" section of the administration home page.
2. Use the drop-down menu to select the collection you wish to manage.
3. Click on the "Administer" tab
4. Click on the "Edit Collection Configuration" link

The Edit Collection Configuration page provides a table of current configuration settings, the ability to add new ones, and some pre-set filters for viewing groups of related settings on the left.
